OT- 68 XR7

Well, I went and did it. I almost completely exhasted my jeep fund today when I broke down and bought a 68 couger XR7. It is a pretty sweet car. It needs a little work but its going to be my daily driver/comuter. I know its not really a practical daily comuter car but who says a comuter car has to be practical. The biggest problem with this car is that is it going to take more money from the jeep fund before Im done with it. I'll try and get some pics on here when I get back from bow hunting later this next weekend.

Hey sweet car and it will be fine as a daily driver. I had a 69 Mustang fastback that I drove for about 4 years. Just put discs on if it doesnt have em yet.

I had 2 68 mustangs. love them. I always had a soft spot for the Xr7.

I love that gold eliminator in the begining of "dusk till dawn"

good choice.

I had onea 68 XR-7 a few years back, but I didn't have it long just a couple of days when some one offered me more than I paid for it . It was enough of a difference that before the day was over it was thiers.

I bought a 67 Cougar GT in high school and kept it for about 7 years. It was stock with the HiPo 390 (325HP), 4bbl Holley, C6, 9" rear end. Needless to say it hauled Ace!!

It was a really fun car. Have fun with yours.
