Carnage Pics and Article

There is a write up, on the front page of ORC, about the "Carnage for the Con" event. There are some awsome pictures, including some good sequence shots of my multiple rollover.
It was a great event for the spectators and we raised several thousand dollars to go to the "Friends of the Rubicon" Orginization and the "Blue Ribbon Coalition".
Let me know what you think!

Jeff - Those rollover pics still give me chills when I see them... glad you were not hurt too bad. I think my favorite pic is #65: http://www.off-road.com/rock/event/carnage02/gallery/DSC_4055.jpg.html

I think only 1 wheel is touching the ground, if I did not know a rollover was coming, this pic would be kinda funny

Re: Carnage Pics and Article

Hahaha, there is a pic @ www.xpress-photo.com that was taken from the hill above, and all 4 tires are off the ground, and the Jeep is charging forward. When I landed on all 4 tires and told the paramedics that could have my undivided attention in another 4 minutes, and started back up the course,.... the crowd went nuts.
I was told by a photographer from one of the major off road rags, that I had just surpassed Chris Durahm (in his opinion) as the most aggressive driver on the circuit. He later told me, after an awsomely smooth run on the upper course,..."too bad, that your consistantly improving skills, will spell the end to your crowd pleasing antics",...my response,..."I hope your right, but dont hold your breath".

Funny verbage Jeff. All I got to say is that you are DUE for some primetime ink.
I did just have a funny thought. It would be hard to get some "headswell" from a good write-up or pics in a big paper rag when you know the bulk of us will be reading it from the prime seat of the "throne". (or the "reading room")
Nice write-up and pics on ORC.
