more electrical gremlins.....

is there a any sort of switch on that is activated by the clutch on an 80 cj? for some reason the voltage jumps up about 1/2 a volt as soon as the clutch is pushed in just a little (but not enough to disengage the tranny). it is odd and i was just curious why this would happen.

thanks all

Re: more electrical gremlins.....

Check your grounds, especially to the body & dash. You're feedinng from the engine through the pressure plate and clutch linkage to the dash.

There is on mine. No, Jeep didn't put them in, but if you want your gauges and lights to work properly, you should add it.
