Hesco - I\'m disappointed!

I ordered a crankshaft sensor relocation kit last week from Hesco and indicated that I was mounting it on a 258 block, but using 1995 as the donor for the MPI Conversion and wiring. The harmonic balancer arrived and I mounted it on the crankshaft. It went on and flushed with end of crankshaft, but would not align with other assessories. I called Hesco to inquire about the problem. They told me that the balancer was the right one, but that I needed a spacer to force the balancer back further on the crankshaft. They said that they had the spacers and that the spacers could not be bought anywhere else. For another $10.00 and shipping I could get it. My question is why sell the kit to someone who is putting it on a 258 without including the spacer or at least putting a note with the spacer explaining that it may not work for an 258 crank, prior to 97, without using a spacer.

Just a frustrated customer!

hecso makes a steroker kit.....
when I built y stroker, I had the cut the front of the 258 crank down a bit... seems to me that if i were to relocate the CPS I'd need the kit just as you described.....without the spacer
