New jeep pics

Well I bought it earlier today.
90 YJ Islander with a 4.2L.
It had a engine fire in the past, and the carb and all emissions engine were stripped.
It has a 1 barrell in now.
I feel so dirty having square headlights
It is sure nice having very limited amounts of rust and having evertying work..starts up first time.
It has a 3 inch superlift too...but stock tires.

Re: New jeep pics

Please, do us a favor, don't set it on fire or paint any flames on it!!!

As for brakefluid being green, I've never heard of that. Possible a new way to cut down on cost....just use one fluid for brakes AND cooling!!

Re: New jeep pics

Joey I take it that you don't have to pass an emissions test were you live?

Re: New jeep pics

Nice looking Jeep. I hope you have better luck with this one then the last 2. I think that having everything working and it starting on the first try will help you get over the square headlight thing.

So, Joey, what's the first mod you're gonna do to it?

Re: New jeep pics

yep they canned emissions test about 2 years ago.
It cost too much money I believe was the excuse.
5 bucks for a test that cost the shop 3 dollars, and takes 30 minutes(when shops are paid 50-70 per hour for their work)

When are we going to play?
As soon as possible!
I need to find someone to wheel with. All my old wheeling buddies either sold their vehicles or I've lost their numbers.

You have any free time soon will?

First mod?Its already been done.
It had lowback seast installed, which weren't stock...and had too much pad for me to sit comfortably(because I'm only 5'4)
Spent $140 for a bestop seat. The only thing that sucks is this thing is huge!hard to see around and it rubs on the cheapy console the PO installed.

More pics!
