speedometer needle needed

Anybody got a junk CJ speedometer they'd sell the needle off of? Mine broke last winter so I superglued and then used epoxy on it. It might last forever but I would like to have one on hand if it does it again. This is just the aluminum needle and hub itself, I don't need the plastic button it sets on.

Re: speedometer needle needed

Thanks bigbad8, I got the speedometer today. The UPS guy knocked on the door and wanted to know if I wanted to return it. I said, "No, why?" He said something was written on the package so he thought maybe it had been delivered, refused, and was to be returned. Plus, it took forever to get here so I checked the tracking number for kicks and grins.

I took over 72 hours to get from NY to KC, spending the bulk of that time in someplace called CACH, IL. Then it went out for delivery on the second, but got lost in the truck so it wasn't delivered. Here's the tracking number, check it out it's kind of funny 1Z 106 0X7 03 4153 146 6. I'm glad I wasn't in a hurry for it.

So, didn't I hear these guys were contemplating going on strike because they thought the deserved more money? Go figure.

Can I reimburse you for the shipping? I know there was not a lot left of the speedo, but it will provide the needle that I needed plus a spare shaft, cup, magnet and bushing that I don't think I need now but it's always good to have spare parts. That's worth something, besides, I might find that I need them when winter comes again.

Even though I've been unemployed since February and don't get unemployment because I was I was self-employed, I put enough away to pay the bills for a while. It wouldn't be right to have somebody go to the trouble of sending the part AND pay the shipping for me too.
