was going to e-mail a couple of you, but decided to just make a post......
it's an 84 dodge W250 3/4ton, 318, NP435/NP208, a 44 front and 60 rear, not sure what gears.......and automatic hubs (not for long)
there is some rust in the bed and a 6" hole above the rear tire, but under side in very good.......this is one solid plane jane truck, factory no radio or anything, i love it

Re: bought me a new Truck, well new to me

Dang man! That's what I've been looking for! Well, maybe a few years newer w/ FI and 5spd would be nice too.

Gunna paint it pink too?????
J/K...
Nice price on that too. I think its already got a D 60 rear (30 spline). What are you going to do with it?
Anyway, if the wife doesn't like it, and makes your life miserable (they can ya' know), you can at least sell it and make a little money..
congrats.

Re: bought me a new Truck, well new to me

hey ricky
i was thinking baby blue might be a nice color..........

i bought it to be my daily driver i'm tired of my 97 chevy extended cab....and wanted a more manly truck
we are going to trade the chevy in on something else, a family thingy, maybe a cherokee or something.......

my wife don't mind me getting this, she just thinks i'm crazy for wanting an older truck............

Re: bought me a new Truck, well new to me

when my wife first seen it she said it was hidious, i just don't understand, it looks really good to me. now it does drive hidious, steering has to much play, i pretty sure i've got a bad axle u-joint and a wasted automatic hub, bla bla bla and some major exhaust leaks, the kind that everyone looks at you when ya drive through town

also patrick, i got the money order from your girlfriend, thanks.

so, what kind of plans you have brewed up for your jeep while floating around?

Like I said before, they don't just understand. And like you said you wanted something more manly, well that's the reason she don't like it. It's to manly for her, she probably thinks the extra cab Chevy is just fine. As far as the other guys talking about painting it well I'd either leave it alone or if I was going to paint it I'd camo it.
