YJ Wrangler Engine Problem!
My Jeep has an engine problem. My YJ Jeep Wrangler (1991, I6 engine) gets about 7 Miles per gallon and every 2 weeks the oil is gone and needs to be refilled. I need to either have it overhauled, repairing the problems, or get a new engine in there. I don't know what is best, but am talking to as many Mechanics as I can about this. What do you guys suggest ??
Re: YJ Wrangler Engine Problem!
My ..... you are in a bad situation aren't you? With what you describe you MUST have some other symptoms besides JUST 7 mpg and JUST using a few quarts every two weeks. How much smoke? How many miles (on the motor and between oil adds)? How's the power? No .... no ..... don't tell me ...... you've got oil in your air cleaner, right? While we're at it ..... how's your wallet ..... fat ...thin ..... extremely thin? How about mechanical ability...tools.... and a garage? Is it a daily driver ........ can it sit?
