360 Motocraft carb question / J10 Parts

I just picked up a J10 and if anyone needs anyparts email me. The t-case is a NP 219 does anyone have any info on that? I run a 208 in my wrangler and have never heard of a 219. anyway I was trying to tune up the motorcraft carb and I didn't see where the air inlet screw was. I also was going to take off the electric choke since it wasn't working but I noticed a line from the bottom of it going into the intake directly under it. There is also one other line going in beside it. What does this do?? Can I just plug it and take the electric choke off? thanks Mike

The lines from the choke to the manifold goes into the manifold and coils around. This is where the choke gets it hot air to determine to choke or not. When I used to use the stock manifold i just cut them off and plugged them with a small bolt and rtv.

Thats what I will probally do then. thanks for the info. Also on a carter bbd there are 2 screws, one for the air and one for the idle, on the motorcraft I only see the idle one. Is there another adjustment. thanks Mike
