Is there a GRADE of exhaust pipe?

I had exhaust put on my jeep a little over a year ago. It's already turned to sh!t. So I'm looking into getting a new system. I found what appears to be a good guy to do the work (Thanks Ricky). But I'm just curious if it's possible to ask for some "grade" of exhaust. Seeing as how I'm gonna dump it into water and mud, and what not.... is there anything I can do... to help it last?

Some exhaust pipe is heavier, maybe called double wall. Also there is aluminized which is what it sounds like, aluminum is sprayed on pipes. This is aluminum color and also lasts longer. If there is one section that rots the fastest maybe a good custom exhaust shop can bend up a piece of stainless for a little more than mild steel.
