On board air

Hey all....I was talking to a friend from the Jeep club I belong to and he was telling me something about hooking up air to my a/c compressor....anyone know of any sites that talk about this? Sounds like a hell of an idea....who the hell needs a/c anyway?!?!?

Re: On board air

If you have the factory compressor and hate A/C (yeah, it's been only like 100+ around here these days) you can look on my site under mods to get an idea what to do. I got a compressor from a junk yard and mounted it where the factory comp would go but you already have all that done. It's just the matter of getting the tank, the misc plumbing items, evac the freon, cut some tubes and you're good to go. It's the #1 mod to have off-road.

Re: On board air

I dont know how comparatively cost effective it is, but I've got a 15 lb CO2 bottle with a 25' air hose for my expenditures.

DOWN WITH NO A/C! Its hotter n hell here.
