after the first test fit i thought this was going to be pretty easy, BUT little things turned into big things, bla bla bla
so the grill(and winch) got moved about 6" back (closer to the firewall), giving me alot more inner fenderwhell clearance.........and alot less engine compartment..........
anyway the radiator caused the most headaches, it had to mounted up about 2" higher than a factory CJ location to clear the steering, and i couldn't use the factory body mount location at all. also i can't fit the engine driven fan, and decided to mount the fan between the grill and radiator (thanks again for the "Volvo" fans chris, "elusive") i post a pic of how the motor sticks out the grill, it looks pretty bad, BUT is fits [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
the ford shock tower worked out like i planned it, and i think the little angle iron brackets mounting the grill assy. will work good. (we will see)
my YJ tub has a 2" body lift, if not the inner fender couldn't have cleared anything, just as i planned [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img]
