R.E. or O.M.E.
Who do you think makes the best 2.5" lift springs? For use in a SOA conversion? What technologies are in the springs? I know OME is shot peened, military wrapped, tapered ends with teflon pads, and the flat mounting point to resist axle-wrap...

Re: R.E. or O.M.E.
Sorry I can't answer all of your questions. All I can say is that I have OME springs & shocks on my YJ, and I am able to keep up with the 4" guys just fine. On every trip, I always receive compliments for their articulation. I spent the extra money, and I'm glad that I did.

They ride great on- and offroad, too.

National Spring. They make a set especially for SOA conversions...I believe the eyes are turned under instead of over which I've been told is supposed to work better for that setup.

Re: R.E. or O.M.E.
I agree with the National Springs. The eye is the reverse of the "normal" leaf spring setup. this helps alot with springwrap which
SOA's are prone to. They will make the springs with just about any lift height you want.

Re: R.E. or O.M.E.
ok- where do they sell the national springs at? I am thinking about an SOA soon.

You have to get them straight from the source. They are kinda pricey (more so than their normal custom springs). 1-800-399-3852
