FS: Hi-lift...used once

Anyone interested in a NEW hi-lift jack? Its been used one time...and I'll never use it again. I didnt like the old rollerfairlead falling off of it right into my uh...parts. That thing is dangerous, but if you guys are braver than I am...its yours.

Re: FS: Hi-lift...used once

sounds like the All Knowing was making an attempt at natural selection if you were jacking the jeep from the center of the bumper on a ROLLER!!!
come now..
hi-lift jacks have been around a lot longer than most folks realize. I know I remember one we got off a train when I was a kid. it's still on the farm and gets used all the time..
i have also seen folks hurt themselves by playing odd tricks with gravity.. gravity is funny.. it's fairly reliable..
go ahead and sell your hi-lift, but next time your stuck in a pair of ruts by yourself.. remember it's gone.

Re: FS: Hi-lift...used once

NO no no, I was lifting it from the front bumper, the roller fairlead was the first thing that came in contact with me. Get it? OUCH

I have a winch, and it seemed to do a damn good job the other day while I was alone and hi-centered in some ruts. The bottom of the thing is too wobbley (sp?) and too small of a contact pad.

I'm with Elusive. Maybe you be able to pull yourself out of the ruts with a winch, but I'm unclear how your gonna use it to change a tire? Break a bead?
I wouldn't give mine away, but I might trade it for a 60"er .

Re: FS: Hi-lift...used once

You can probably think of some nice way to use your winch to change a tire ;-)

Hehehe

I`d just keep the hi-lift myself.... so many uses...

You're selling a hi-lift, I think that's a first...I've never heard of anyone selling them. Yeah if your serious about selling, let me know I'm in.
