Weber 32/36 brand new for $300??

I was wondering if a brand new Weber carb for my 258 is a good deal at $300?
I'm trying to figure it out before I buy one on ebay.
Thanks...

Re: Weber 32/36 brand new for $300??

It's a good deal for new one if it has the 2 adapters, the gaskets to install the adapters and carb, throttle linkage and the air cleaner. There are also a couple of hard to find screws used to mount one of those adapters. Although any good hardware store will have the screws.

look at www.thinkjeep.com on sale now for $319.95 and free shipping. gauranteed to be complete, and probably cheaper than the one on ebay when you add shipping. Hope this helps, Ben

www.carbs.net had a special last week for the 32/36 kit at $315, including all the adapters, linkage, etc. that is included in the usual $400 kits. S&H is about $9.
