Re: jeep basics

Start with the Jeep Bible-lots of info from mild to wild! Also hanging out with Jeepers is one of the best ways to pick up the basics.

Re: jeep basics

You could try the Jeep Owner's Bible. It goes through the history of jeeps, different types of engines, trannies etc. that come with jeeps, and what the most common swaps are etc. I don't know if that is what your buddy is looking for.

My experience has been, you have to get under a jeep and look around, ask questions, in order to really get to know jeeps. Also watch this board, read the posts it's amazing what you learn.
