Paint for my hard top

I was thinking about painting my hard top and would like to know what type of paint you guys have used. What did you do to prep. the top, did you use a flat color or a high gloss. Do I need to prime the top first. I was thinking about a flat or semi gloss rust oleum Black. I know that this was on hear not to long ago, but the search did not work for me.

Re: Paint for my hard top

I used Krylon semi-gloss (or semi-flat, I don't remember) black and it turned out great. I pulled the windows out and taped off the openings, wiped it down with laquer thinner to prep it, and I spray bombed it. Took about three cans to cover the blue that someone else painted, but it turned out great!
