Which fuel pump for 350 TBI?

Currently putting a 1993 350 TBI into my 1980 CJ-7. Need suggestions on fuel pumps. Inline pump? In-tank pump? Not sure which way to go. I'd like to do it right the first time. What is involved in modifying my current after market (22 gal) tank to accept the in-tank pump? Any help would be great!

Re: Which fuel pump for 350 TBI?

I plan on running a stock YJ tank (since I'm doing the YJ tub conversion at the same time). The tank with fuel sending unit and pump came from an 89 YJ w/ 2.5L TBI engine. This pump puts out adequate fuel pressure and volume for a TBI motor, which I am also in the process of installing. My TBI is from an 88 C30.

Re: Which fuel pump for 350 TBI?

I used a Holley inline pump they run about $130..... Found out later that Howell sells a inline pump for around $80. I don't trust electric pumps and would like to carry a spare but I am too cheap to fork out that much for a spare. I had a holley go out on a autocross car that me and a buddy ran and I have not trusted them ever since.
