Tire Recommendations

I have a 1992 YJ stock. I currently have
235 BF Goodrich All Terrain TA. I had pretty good luck (lasted 70K +). Shopping around i found Pirelli Scorpion AT and Yokohama Geolander AT Plus II and they seem to be better rated than the BF Goodrich.

I mostly drive on the highway but do some off roading (I have a 81 CJ for the hard trails).
Looking for good wet/snow traction.

AN comments on the above tires .. stories, thoughts, mindless ramblings !!! All are accepted !!

Re: Tire Recommendations

While the others might be rated better, I doubt their longevity will equal the BFG's. If the ratings are from Consumer Reports, take them with a grain of salt as they seem to sway one way to the other each time they evaluate something.

Re: Tire Recommendations

Where's ya find the ratings on the Yokohama's being better than the BFG's? I'm very please so far with my BFG M/T's. They ride nicely, the sidewalls flex great and seem pretty strong, and they're wearing good.
