Waggy dana 44 shaft question.

I have been trying to find a cheap waggy dana 44 shaft for now and was just wondering if the 70's with passengers side drop are the same size as the 80's with driverside drop? It may be a long shot but to me it seems like they might actually be the same.

Anyone on here have any shafts that they would want to sell fairly cheap? Reply to this post or email me. thanks Mike

They're not the same. There's about an inch difference between the long sides and short sides.

Re: Waggy dana 44 shaft question.

Well I just checked around, superior doesn't carry any or do any custom applications. Warn I never got a price. Moser said a pair of inner and outers is 294, The CTM u-joints are 300 a set. Now I am looking at 900 to fix up my 44. When you add up the (ball joints, u-joints, Ring + Pin, Bearings, flat top knuckles, axle, Histeer) It gets very pricey!!! For now since I don't have the kind of money I might just have to take the mini spool out.
