Nutter Bypass almost has me there

I did the Nutter bypass today and it dramatically improved my jeeps idle and low speed performance, when cold. When the Jeep warms up, its back to its old tricks of stalling when I stop. It also seems like its running a little hotter, but no pinging or anything, timing is set to 11-12 degrees BTDC @ 1600 with the tranny in Park, is this correct? (87 YJ). I did the TR upgrade yesterday and the BBD venturi clean out the weekend before, both gave me big improvements. Also yesterday, I removed the evap canister, EGR, etc etc, so nothing is left to cause this but the BBD and its unplugged. I'm wondering if the CAT conveter could be the cause or maybe I need to clean out my idle tubes again (and drill them out this time). Any recommendations for a decent Vacume gauge, are the ones at AutoZone and places like that any good?

Re: Nutter Bypass almost has me there

Are you going to use the Vacuum guage just for trouble shooting or for mounting on the dash? I have a 2" Dia guage mage by Hawk that's been working great for about 7 years now and fits nicely in a 2" piec of conduit and fit nicely on my steering colume.
