How mutch lift with an Old Man Emu SUA kit?

I`m about to buy an OME 2,5" kit, but i wonders how mutch lift i can expect on my YJ with 15 year old springs. My local 4x4 partsstore tells me it will lift 3,5-4". Is this true. And would i be able to put on some 33/12,5-15 with this lift? I`d really like the OME kit, but i`m afraid it`s not lifting my JEEP enough. It`s quite expencive, so i will not ending up using a lot of money buying something i would be dissapointed about when i put it on my JEEP.

Re: How mutch lift with an Old Man Emu SUA kit?

I can't say for a YJ, but the conversion kit for my CJ, using the YJ length shackles and rear springs at all 4 corners, was only 2-1/2". The front sat lower because of the Warn 8274 winch I had on at the time. When I sold it and installed a Warn 8000i, the front was almost level. In an effort to improve my approach angle (the front shackles hit quite often) I installed the OME "fitted leaves" and replace the YJ shackles with some HD CJ shackles from 4WDH. The added springs made up for the lift from the YJ shackles and did not change the ride quality. I run 33-12.50 tires on 10" rims, extended my bump stops, modified the front shock mounts to run longer shocks and have a 1" body lift.
