Opinions on tri-county axles?

I'm still pricing Dana 44 front/Dana 60 rear axles with 4.10's, detroits (maybe ARB), and disc brakes. I've heard tri-county is cheaper than most companies for mail-order, ready to install axles. I heard they use used axle housings, but if it saves big $$$ and they are still strong enough for 33"s and 250HP, who cares? Anyone deal with their stuff?

I would say junk yard but where your at it would be tough.. Call and ask them. On the POR board they have had a few problems with some places quality, but I can't remember.

I always go with the saying that you get what you pay for.

Hey Greg!
This is Nickmil (Nick Miller). Just wondering if you ever received that clutch pedal I sent to you. I never heard back and my computer crashed so I lost your e-mail address. Then in the process of moving I couldn't find your address to snail mail you. Hopefully it got there ok? It was during the mail mess right after 9/11. Nickmil.
