Anyone make their own seat brackets.

The stock brackets have been modified too much and they still aren't exactly what I want. The seats are the cheap plastic ones from summit. I think the only way I will get the seats to fit right and operate correctly (flip forward) is to make my own brackets. So I am looking for ideas. I have a welder and metal cutting tools, but can't really come up with a good design. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Anyone make their own seat brackets.

The brakets on my RCI seats were fabbed from angle aluminum. just drill holes where needed and bolt it all together. fast, simply, effective. oh, and i used PVC pipe to level the seat out.
