Dana 30 conversion???

i need some help from the jeep brain trust !! [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
i need to know if anyone has adapted cj-7 spindles,hubs, basically ball joints out onto a tj... they both have dana 30 front ends. will it work? i want locking hubs and i don't like the warn/ford ranger [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] offering.
any help would be great! thanks

I could see a complete knuckle-out swap working with some fabrication. But, the question is - is it worth the money/labor?

It won't work. The TJ has a larger spacing between the ball joints than the CJ dana 30. You'd have to cut the inner knuckle off the tubes and swap those too.
