Need alittle help

Looked at a 74 CJ5 today.. had rebuilt 304 in it... manual tranny? what kinda.. shft pattern? axles? and xfer case? Thanks

muddynut-
If it is a factory 304 it has either a T14 or T15 tranny, Dana 20 xcase, open Dana 30 front and a Dana 44 rear. Gears in the axles are either 3.73 std or 4.27 optional.

Same rig I've got, and I'm just about done with my initial restoration/buildup. Here is a great link that has all the basics on the CJ5:
