Add-a-leafs for a \'91 YJ

I'm looking for a stiffer ride without a lift kit. Any suggestions on brand, price & dealers?
Will I need new u-bolts, trans lowering kit & shocks?

Thanks, BillMichaels

Re: Add-a-leafs for a \'91 YJ

I just did a set of ad-a-leafs in my 90' YJ. I used the rancho kit which came with new center bolts and the ad-a-leafs. It was pretty simple to do on a car lift. Took about 3 hours to finish. You will not need new u-bolts, but in the front it might be worth replacing them anyway. You will definitely need new shocks. With the rancho kit, I couldn't even reattach the rear shocks, and the front ones were fully extended at rest. I used ProComp 3000's all around, and I am really happy with the results. Now I just need to lower the transfer case because I ended up with a pretty nasty pinion angle. Got about 2-inches of lift out of the whole deal. Looks good on a a set of 31" Swampers!
