bought parts jeep-help with axle identification???

Ok-I know most stock jeep axles-but these I was told are 1 1/4 ton military??? They currently have 44's that barely hold air-but the axles are very beefy and look like they can handle alot-anybody recognize them? Thak for your help!

Looks like a dana 60 front and 60 or 70 rear. You can look for yourself if you look at the web to the bottom right of the diff cover.

If there is not a model number there, try here.

Just out of curiostiy, does the front dif have open or closed knuckles? I can't tell from the pic. If they are closed knuckles, there were some fords that had a D60 that way--and there is one seriously hard to find gasket in there. Also, the rear axle looks like it has two blocks stacked on one another?

cj5_pilot, if you look under the shackle, you can see four of the bolts of the knuckle seal. It's closed knuckle. I have a hunch his axles are from an M715. The drum brakes on the front also support that.
