Springs CJ-5

I just bought a 78 CJ5 which has a 3" body lift that I plan on replacing with a 2.5" spring lift. I also have a 73 CJ5 w/ broken springs from a chance encounter with a ditch. Will I run into any problems installing the 78 oem springs on the 73?

Re: Springs CJ-5

The front springs might interchange, although I think the '78 springs are a bit longer. The '78 rear springs will definitely not fit
as they are too wide for the '73. The fronts on the '78 might fit on the rear, the '73 uses a longer spring in the rear.

The fronts from '76-'86 are too long for the pre '76 CJ's.
