To start with, it's an INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE, not a 'Motor'....

Please fill out your profile. Then get a Haynes book and any other material that you can and read it. Now the next item is why electric cars are not more popular. The gasoline heads get tweaked when someone refers to an engine as a motor, and the electriacal guys understand when someone refers to an engine as a motor. Thus the mindset that makes it very difficult to cross the line and replace an engine with an electrical motor. Just havin sum fun...tic.
