Can you rent/borrow tubing benders?

I want to build a cage for my Jeep but I dont want to for out the money for a kit or tubing benders. Are there places that will rent them to you anyone knows of? The only reason I say borrow I saw and add for some auto parts store that lets you borrow there specitaly tools I dought a tubbing bender is one of them.

On another note are any of you hear willing to bend the pipes for me and the ship them. I would pay for the material and the shipping and throw in allittle something for you troubles. I want to put the YJ cage in so I can have the back hoop and I think they look better. Any Ideas what they would run out of a Junk Yard?

This ins't going to be soon just trying to think what I want to do/can afford to do this summer.

I'm willing to bet the only "tubing bender" they're going to rent you is either for brake lines, conduit, or cast pipe. I seriously doubt they will rent a proper tubing bender and dies set.

HOWEVER, if you're looking to make an INVESTMENT...tubing benders are probably cheaper than you think. The JDsquared and another company...escapes me at the moment...sell quality benders for less than $250. These are heavy duty, albeit manually operated units. Someone on this board has one, and praised its quality of bends...only downside...the dies are only good for one size of tubing and cost nearly as much as the bender itself!!

if you get the material, and have the measurments that you need you could probably bring it to a muffler shop, or any back woods mechanic (we have those here I don't know where you are) and the will probably bend them for next to nothing.
