How about a lesson on clutch master cylinder bore
I finally got through to Advanced adapters and ordered the little fitting that converts the 93 YJ clutch master cylinder into something that I can connect to. I also decided to go with the stainless braided hose from them. The question, which was brought up by the sales guy, is the bore and stroke the same on my YJ master cylinder compared to my 1985 GM clutch slave cylinder? Now he really has me wondering. Do you think I will get enough "throw" to disengage the all new clutch? Anyone with any comments on this? I have reviewed this forum just about everyday since I joined in January and I don't remember seeing anything about the bore and stroke of a clutch hydralics being an issue. He said if the GM is smaller the clutch pedal will push very hard. If the GM is bigger by much I won't get enough throw to disengage. I told him I would make sure the Jeep was pointed out of the garage if I ever get to drive it for the first time. Getting itchy now to drive it.
