Re: Roll Cage Pics

Is this the Harbor Freight pipe bender? Have any kinking problems? Did you fill the tubes with sand? What size tubing did you use (I'm assuming tubing, not piping)

Re: Roll Cage Pics

Looks great, Dirt! Can't beat that price either. Just curious, did you tie it into the frame?

Re: Roll Cage Pics

No kinking or anyhing. No sand either. You have to match the dies with the tubeing right.(and most don't W/O a shim) I usd 2" 1/8" wall seamless tubing. And yes it's tied to the frame. I forgot to get a pic of it but I will shortly.

Re: Roll Cage Pics

Dirt, my rollcage is on the to-do list, it might possibly be sped up if you can inform me where you got the $100 dollar wonder...

For $100+ for a bender, and $100 in tube, I'd still be under what I'd pay for a single front hoop minus any spreaders..

hell, I could make the cage 5 times before I even came close to the price for a kit.

I found this <a target="_blank" href=http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=38024>http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=38024</a> is that the one you have?

also, any tips with the bender would be greatly appreciated, your cage looks great, I'd be happy with anything 1/2 as good...

beats the foam covered PVC pipe I saw on TV once.
