I found the BBS finally!! It has been awhile.

Well fianally the link on the offroad.com jeep page is fixed and i have found my old home. I really got worried about where everyone went.
Well i finally got a set of swampers for the 63 CJ5. I decided to get the 34x10.50 LTBs and I really like em. I have only ridden them one time, but what a difference over the A/T i had on before. I got married a few weeks ago and survived the honeymoon. My 1946 CJ2a project is now getting parted out. I just dont have the time for it, because the tub and frame are just plain toast, so next time i will get a better condition project to sink money into. It was a matter of survival, because of the new marriage and reduction of debt to build a house and if i sink the money into the flatty, then no house, or would have to sell 63 CJ5. Bye bye flatty. Anybody in Florida need some parts for a CJ2A? Well I am glad to have found everyone again. Cheers!

It is good to be back guys!!
As for parts for the flatty. I got a full roll cage, trann/transfercase, fflathead engine complete, but smokes bad. I think the main parts I am going to keep it the front clip. This jeep had the early grill with the bullet turn signals. I still have the tub, but i cut out some panels to get rid of the rust.

Hey Dan! Now I won't feel so awkward calling your fiance's cell phone. My neighbor just bought a CJ2A and is restoring it (somewhat) - I'll see if he needs anything. Are you going to the Truxpo this month? I'm heading to Orlando this Saturday to pick up some new rubber from 4whlprts, and I may be in Ormond later this month or early next. Congrats on the marriage!

What tires you getting?? What date is the truxpo and where? I have heard about it, but i dont know. this weekend we are going to play in the everglades. They just got some rain down there and it should be interesting. I am wating for a buddy to come over with a torch to cut of the frame for the flatty. It is so toasted, but I am going to cut off all the brackets i kind find before i toss it.
Yep we finally got married. It gets weird her intials are now D.S. like mine. So i email her at work at DStewart it feels like I am emailing myself.

I'm getting some 31 BFG MT's on black rims for the ZJ. The truxpo is at the Daytona Speedway from April 26 - 28. It's about $8 and has hundreds of awesome rigs. Everglades sound like fun - I wish I had something that could handle it! The CJ is still 2wd and, well...the ZJ will be getting some new rubber....hmmmm.....
