Finding Driveshaft/Pinion Angle
I'm having some trouble with my rear cv shaft binding. It's hitting itself on the cv joint and making a pretty bad knocking sound. I bought some adjustable upper control arms and raised the pinion up to where it looks to be pointed straight at the t-case output, but it's still knocking. I took some measurements from the center of the u-joints, and believe the angle is 17*, but am not sure I'm right. Is 17* correct according to the picture of my measurements? Am I measuring from the right places? Is that too much angle for the cv? And how can I figure out if I have the pinion pointed where it needs to be?
