Winch installation??

I should be getting in my Ramsey Platinum 9500 next week, and I was wondering if there is a fairly cheap winch mount for it. I don't really have the time to build one, but if its too much $$ I will. I just want to be able to mount the winch before I get around to building my new bumpers. I have not really found a mount that says this winch will bolt on.

Might I ask what it's going on?

Re: Winch installation??

Sorry, its for my TJ. I had to sell the CJ before moving to California.

Re: Winch installation??

Ramsey makes one but its not cheap. Mine is for a CJ but I can't imagine that the TJ would be to much different.
I think I paid 150.00 for mine. Its basically a flat piece of 3/8" powder coated steel with holes drilled in it and some brackets that secure the thing to the side of the frame rails. The front and rear edges of it are rolled up about 1/2".
You could probably make one for next to nothing.

Boy, Ramsey wants a lot for their channel mount. I think Warn's goes for about $95.

Re: Winch installation??

I bought mine about 4 years ago so my memory of it is not that good. It might have been a little less but I am sure I paid at least 100.00.
