quick mc 2100 question

i have a mc 2100 carb that dosen't have a pcv port on the back, now can i drill and tapp a hole on the spacer for the pcv?

That's what I just did. I don't know if its right, but I couldn't see it being any different than the port being on the carb. It does pull a lot of air from there, but I don't think it is sucking any oil through the line.

how did you go about doin that? i plan on checking the vacume with a vac gauage and then i'll compare it to what the other says.
