I like that! what year/make saturn? you using stock brackets? Are the seats narrow enough, or did you have width problems?

Im wondering also are those seats from a saturn car? they look nice!

also, why are the spreaders for the front cage have that bend in them?

ive noticed the kits come with 2, both are bent, did you order 2 additional or bend them yourself?

and what exactly is the bend for?

Re: Finished cage and new seats. Pics

The bends are purely for headroom in the event of a rollover. The old seats used to sit higher than these new ones, and it was designed around those seats.

I went to the local pull-n-save, found a newly wrecked car, happened to be a totaled 1997 Saturn with low miles. I used all stock brackets from the car, and just ran a bar across the rollcage to attach them to, bolted them down.

They are actually narrower than the original seats, now I can get a larger console.

Thats a good idea..

Yeah, its a 74 CJ5 with a t-18. Have the T-150 bellhousing and the ford input shaft with the Dana20 and TeraLow kit. Nice rockcrawling setup with 86:1 crawl ratio.
