D20 dissasemble ?

I'm in the process of replacing the seals and gaskets on my D20. everything came apart fine with the exception of the 'front seal cover'. How do I get the cover to come off of the 2 rails? It only comes about 1/2 way and then stops. BTW, I'm only doing the seal/gaskets, so I would like to avoid pulling the gears out if possible. Any info is appreciated, thanks

Re: D20 dissasemble ?

Is it the front seal on the output shaft or the front seal of the case. The front seal of the case I have always taken down completely to replace. You must remove gears and everything for this one I believe. It is hard to get it off. Usually stuck pretty good and it is the whole part. Try this for reference:

Re: D20 dissasemble ?

It is the gasket that goes between the main housing and the front output housing.
