My Jeepchick wants another Jeep!

I don't know what to do! My cj-7 is tore apart in the garage, the J-20 is in the driveway getting dismantled, I got to put new brakes on my Cherokee, and now my girlfriend wants to buy a 94 YJ! It's black, has a 3" lift (spring thank god), 4.0 (114,600), 5 spd., newer Bestop, and of course chrome grill and bumpers (the true girl magnet). Needless to say I don't have a trail rig right now and the weather is getting perfect for a topless Jeep, my Cherokee is not an offroad warrior, and the cj-7 is $$$ away from being finished. So guys do I give my girlfriend the green light and expand the Jeep collection? this would be HER toy but I'm really missing not being able to drive my 7. I asked her if we got it what she wanted to do to it, "I want to put 35's on it", Oh well just more wrench time for me I quess.

Re: My Jeepchick wants another Jeep!

I'm not a big fan of buying "pre built" jeeps not so much because of the you didn't build it but that it probably wasn't built right, alot of people sell their "built jeeps" because they have major problems or are sick of the extra up keep. Also if it's been wheeled i'd pass it up, think about what you do to your rig when you wheel it, i wouldn't want to buy my jeep after i've been wheeling it. If it's been wheeled look for a nice mall crawler that you could build up for her. Also teach her how to wrench and build up her jeep so you can work on yours.

Re: My Jeepchick wants another Jeep!

Oh this IS a mall crawler, no dents or scratches on the paint, nice top and the carpet is not ruined from muddy feet. NO if we get this it will be, "Honey why cann't I have big tires like your jeep?", or "Why want you fix it up for me?". She is a girly Jeepchick not a rugged Jeepchick, no greasy fingers for her, OH NO! Well we are going to look at it again today maybe test-drive it.
