clutch alignment tools

where can i buy a set of cheap clutch alignment tools? i'd really like to buy a set and not just the one specific to my jeep. i checked JC whitney, but no joy? anyone have aby ideas?

I believe 4WDH has them cheap. I don't know if they are vehicle specific or not.

At my local CAP autoparts store they can be bought seperatly for about $8 a piece for plastic ones...I have never seen a set.

I've never heard of a set. There are so many variations it would be pretty tough to put together. We used to use the input shaft off of a junk transmission, which were always plentiful. Now that I have a lathe I just make them as I need them.

Actually, before I had a lathe, my uncle made one for me on his wood lathe. Used a piece of oak. It doesn't take much to do the job if you tighten the clutch cover bolts a little at a time.

I think you can rent then very inexpensivly at most auto parts stores?

most auto parts stores sell a generic one with tapered inserts that may be as close to what you want .
