Front shock towers on a flatty?

Well I got the d30 and springs installed on the cj2. Now the shock towers are on the wrong side of the axle. Seems like d30 spring plates locate the shock on the rear of the axle and d25/27 locate them on the front. Just wondering what some of you have done about this. I have a set of the Ford F250 towers but it doesn't look like they will clear the tires very well. Any pics?

Thanks
Keith
