FSJ tow rig?

Anyone had any experience with towing and an FSJ with quadratrac? Do these make for good tow rigs or what? I might have found a J truck cheap. Let me know what you guys think. 4 vehicle just might be one too many

Re: FSJ tow rig?

It should do fine. It will add some stability too. The q-trac is always getting a bad rap but it really is a strong transfer case. Just replace the chain when it starts jumping every 40k or so and it will outlast the vehicle. I've been through a few chains on mine but I've got 200k on the same transfer case. It's the only part of the drivetrain that hasn't been swapped or rebuilt.

Re: FSJ tow rig?

It might but I think you'd do much better with 3.73's.
