MC 2100 ?s

Is there any difference between a Motorcraft 2100 and an Autolite ? I was digging through my shop over the weekend and found an Autolite that appears to be identical to the MC 2100. Same Yes-No ? Assuming that they are the same, and I decide to give it a try... this particular carb has no provision for the pcv valve. Just 2 small vacumn ports. What are my options ? Now if I could just figure out where this carb came from, I'm sure it wasn't there last time I swamped the shop out. A visit from the Carb Fairy while I was sleeping maybe, if so I wish he/she had brought fuel injection instead.

Not sure about interchangeability of MC/Autolite names, but if they are the same....
On the vacuum port issue, you may try drilling/tapping the backside of an aluminium carb spacer. The early Jeep (V8) intakes were cast for some other type of carb (maybe a Rochester 2G?) and used such an adapter for PCV vacuum. HTH
