it took about 11 years but, i\'m finally SOA

here's the first pic i got (did it kind of "spur of the moment"), really i've been debating it ever since i had a garage big enough for it to fit in)did it all last friday, including test drive home
still need to get some new rear shocks and relocate the front shock mount and make some limiting straps, (looks like the shackle want to flip forward when the front end droops)

what lift springs are you using to clear those tires.. are they still the Q38's? Are you running any body lift?

Thanks

those worn 35" tsl sx's are almost 2" shorter than my Q78's (they won't fit my hummer wheels)
in this picture i got a 2" body lift.

front is 2" YJ rancho lift springs (with a full length add-a-leaf) with factory length shackles + shackle reversal.

rear has factory CJ rear springs (with a full length add-a-leaf), with 2"longer that stock shackles, (i removed my buggy leaf)

Why did you take off your buggy spring setup?

That looks sharp. I turned your jeep from it's pinkish color to a red that looks more like the correct color so maybe you won't have to hear any pink jeep jokes

Re: it took about 11 years but, i\'m finally SOA

i took the buggy springs off (and the longer front shackles) just because i didn't want the extra lift they provide......I'm thinking about putting them back on with some very short shackles, about 2 1/2" bolt hole to bolt hole, not sure yet......

lilblkyj, i think 38's might fit, but i'm going to stay with these for awhile (i think)but if i come across some used ones, i'm sure i'd buy them

pink? it must be your gay computor monitors, looks red to me
