Project is well on its way...Thanks (pics)
I bought my Cj-7 for the purpose of building, and I new very little about Jeeps and swaps till I found this site....Thanks to all who have provided knowledge to my project....there have been many hours spent searching the board archives to get me this far!
Got a roll of film developed today, heres what I got:
I have the frame extended to accept the new, longer chevy springs, and outboarded to bolt up the front axle.
These pics were taken about a month ago, and as of right now, I have a dummy block positioned on the frame along with the SM465 and np205.....I'm currently working on crossmembers and support.
I'll keep the pics coming!
The frame was extended 6" to accept the rear spring from a 98 chevy 2wd...their 62" long
New front spring are ou the the donor truck....rear packs from the 70 GMC
