\"Jeep to dirty for the car wash...

Okay, I finally broke down and did it....my Jeep was so disgustingly dirty even I was getting offended looking at it...although the girls seemed to like it. Anyways, I take it to the local car wash, and the guy working there says "hey, wait a minute...your Jeep is too muddy for the car wash...you'll have to take it somewhere else!" Too dirty for the car wash...sounds like an oxymoron to me. The same thing happened at another place, only they had a big sign saying "no muddied vehicles allowed". I guess it'll have to stay dirty for now. Never liked a clean Jeep anyways....

It's kinda like my wife who won't let me in the shower after working on my jeep - she says I'm too dirty!!

I got the same thing from a pay and spray, so I just went back to it at about midnight, and sprayed it off

What do you do when all your pockets are already emptied?

Re: \"Jeep to dirty for the car wash...

There is a HUGE car wash place here, like stalls I think I counted. Anyways they have big and small bays, some with like 12 foot openings or so, but they have an attendant that works their during the day and then they close the fence at night. But they will let you wash your truck if its muddy, for, get this, $5 a MINUTE

Re: \"Jeep to dirty for the car wash...

i had the same the problem once. Until i explained to the owner that it was raining out (raining equals no customers), he had a guy working there doing nothing (paying him to sit there), and i was going to spend at least 20 bucks ( the only money he was going to make all day long). Needless to say he never has a problem with me going there anymore. Plus if it is nice out i go and get there wheelbarrel and shovel and clean up after myself. I would hate to see some lady pull in there with her car after i was done in there.

Can someone please bring me a hammer my 33's just ate my fender again. Damn i need more lift.

Re: \"Jeep to dirty for the car wash...

I havn't had that problem yet, i usually use one of the auto washes at mobil gas stations (where my gas card works). and they work alright though i usually pre wash with their squigee to get the big chunks and 1/4" coating of mud off and then use the wash, it works pretty well though my jeep usually still has some reminets of mud on it and when you complain it didn't work well the indian guy at the counter gives you his managers card and tells you he can't do anything.

Just use your best Johnnie Cochran voice.. "If the Jeep has dirt, the car wash must squirt!"
