need a pair of stock cj front leaf springs, cheap

Does anyone have a pair of stock cj front leafs that you will sell for cheap? You know, put lift springs on and your old ones are just takin up space in the garage where more important things could be put. Even if you only have one spring pack, let me know, email, post it, or pm me. Thanks, -Drew

Re: need a pair of stock cj front leaf springs, cheap

I have a pair but one of them is tweaked. The PO of my scrambler put it in a ditch or something and the left spring is tweaked. I just put a set of 2.5 inch springs on it so they are just sitting in the way if think you can straighten it. If your interested I'll take a pic of it and show you how bad it is. If so let me know...

i would do a search for jeep clubs in ohio, or whatever is close by.. most jeep club sites have a used parts for sale area. prices are usually reasonable, and you can find something within driving distance.

I also have a set I'd let go. I usually get $50 for the pair and shipping is about $25.

Re: need a pair of stock cj front leaf springs, cheap

Well so far the cheapest I came accross is 25 a pair plus shipping. The local Jeep shop wants 50 a pair and I pick em up(which isn't a bad price). I didn't know how much shipping was so I figured I'd throw this post out here. I will prolly just get the ones from the 4x4 shop. Since the shipping is 25 bucks I don't expect anyone to go lower than 25 a pair, unless they are honestly in the way and the wife is naggin about them and you want to help a fellow wheeler out and save him some cash. Thanks for the help and replies. Also, thanks for not makin fun of me for havin a sami. I know some of the guys on the sami board don't like jeeps, I'm not that way, I like all rigs with lift kits and big mud tires on em. One more thing, I will proudly say that a jeep donor part is on my rig. Thanks again, -Drew

Contrary to popular belief on the Zuk BBS, we on the Jeep BBS don't make fun of Zuks. They are great little 4x4's and very capable, just not our preference sometimes, but some of us on here own both.

Good luck with the springs.

I was going to do the swap that your thinkin of. If you are just puttin them in the back it's pretty much bolt on. If you are puttin them in the front it's alot bigger.....
