Hey all,

I have a set of the RCI seats from Summit. I got them off a local jeep guy. I just picked up a set of 5pt harnesses and was looking at the seats. The holes for the belts are on the sides, between the legs and behind me there is one. I got the Y type harness so that it can go through the seat correctly.

However the slot in the seat is below my shoulders by a few inches. I know that the belts are supposed to be level with your shoulders.

What should I do? I am not a hard core rock crawler but I have been on my side once and it will happen again. I am not going fast. Will this be ok? Thanks

It will be OK. Like you said, you aren't going fast. Even if you were it would probably be fine.
