Jeep running horrible?Could it be weather?

I haven't driven my jeep in about a month.
I put some new plugs in yesterday because I found out my old ones were fouled.
Put everything back on..started up very powerful and had an awesome idle.
Well I want to drive today and its barely running.
It's stuttering very badly and wants to die.
It picks up occasionaly..but its running very very bad.
The problem is, there is a guy who wants to look at my jeep and possibly buy it.
I listed it on jeepclassifieds a long time ago, and forgot to take it off after it caught on fire.
I told him it caught on fire etc..and he still insist of checking it out, as he says he is pretty interested.
I took the hood off to strip off the old paint and get the rust underneath.
Well I haven't put the hood back on and it dropped from about 60 degrees yesterday to a 24F, with a 14 degree windshield.Boy it is cold!
I'm wondering if the combined cold temperature and no hood could cause the problem?
I'm hoping the jeep still runs well tomorrow.
I let it warm up for a few minutes, and she still is acting bad.

Thanks for any info

My '90 YJ runs pretty bad in cold weather but only until it warms up. I'm thinking your timing is probably way off.
